Fr. Renan Michael La Guardia, SDB began the pilgrimage with a Mass at the Church of St. Anthony de Padua in Lisbon, Portugal.
When you’re discouraged, look up and smile. The God who created the heavens and earth loves you beyond your wildest imagination. (Fatima basilica behind me.)

When I lead pilgrimages, I get to visit the most beautiful and breathtaking churches. Example? The one behind me is a 500+ year old cathedral in Spain. People ask me, “Bo, what is the most beautiful church you’ve ever seen? Here’s my answer: YOU. You’re the temple of the Holy Spirit. You’re made in God’s image. You’re more beautiful and breathtaking than anything man has ever made because you’re made by God Himself. #valueyourself

If you offer your life to God, you’ll be 100% shocked at the amazing things that He will accomplish through you! (I’m at the original house of St Ignatius, whose statue is behind me, a former soldier, worldly and ambitious, where 400 years ago, he experienced a deep spiritual conversion after a crisis in his life. He offered Himself to Jesus. Sometime later, he founded the Jesuits. And today, God’s work through this man continues.) Offer your life to God. Let Him use you to bless generations to come! #sayyes

I continue to pray for you. May God be your Provider. Healer, and Miracle Worker. Most of all, may He be the Center of your life. #blessings

Bro. Bo and our pilgrims attended the Rosary Candlelight Procession in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in Lourdes, France.
Love is the only language of Heaven. So while you’re still on planet earth, prepare for your future home by learning its language and using it daily. While you still can, express your love to the people God sends to your life. (Lourdes grotto behind us.)

Be unstoppable. Be faithful to your dream but flexible with the details. (Some of my pilgrims are in wheelchairs, yet they still wanted to fulfill their lifelong dream to go on pilgrimage. So I have the joy and honor of helping them in the journey. They are so happy to make it. I encourage people to take their pilgrimage when they are stronger and younger, but nonetheless, it’s never too late.)

The path of life is not straight. It zigzags, has many ups and downs, and has many potholes! But keep walking forward, putting one foot in front of the other. (Photo: St. Padre Pio’s place in San Giovanni Rotondo.)
