A pilgrimage is a journey of discovery. It is an opportune time to explore new places, pray in holy shrines, learn about the lives of endeared saints and gain new found friends. However, a pilgrimage is also an internal journey of self discovery. It is an opportunity to grow deeper in one’s relationship with God. Join a 15-day Journey of Faith to Eastern Europe (Poland, Czechia, Germany, Austria and Hungary) with Fr. Francis Lucas leaving on September 29, 2020. Get closer to Jesus and discover your true purpose in Him.
Begin your pilgrimage in Warsaw, Poland. Rising from the ashes of its tumultuous past, Warsaw is a fascinating collection of neighbourhood and landmarks. Not to be missed is a delightful walk along the Old Town and Royal Route as it combines a series of old royal residences, parks and churches. Next stop is a visit to Niepokalanow, an important pilgrimage shrine founded by St. Maximilian Kolbe.
Travel south to Czestochowa to visit the Jasna Gora Monastery, home to the beloved miraculous icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa. Numerous miracles and answered prayers have been attributed through the intercession of Our Lady of Czestochowa. Next stop is Lagiewniki to visit the Shrine of the Divine Mercy. At the heart of the shrine stands the chapel where the miraculous image of the Merciful Jesus and the tomb of St. Faustina are found. Head back to Krakow and visit its postcard perfect Old Town that comes complete with Europe’s largest medieval market square and a fairytale castle overlooking the river.
Leave Krakow for Wadowice, the homeland of the beloved St. John Paul II. Step into the past when you see the church where he was baptized and where used to serve as an altar boy.
Leave Poland for the Czechia to spend two nights in Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Celebrate Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Victorious which houses the image of the Sto. Nino del Praga. Next stop is Altotting in Germany to visit to the shrine of the Chapel of Grace, which houses the miraculous image of Our Lady of Altotting or Black Madonna of Altotting.
Leave Germany for Austria where you will enjoy a full day tour of Salzburg’s major sights, including the “Sound of Music” filming locations. Head for Melk, a Danube River town, home to a marvelous Benedictine Abbey that sits on a steep hill overlooking the town.
Next stop is Vienna, the capital of Austria. With many different names like the City of Music and the City of Dreams, Vienna is renowned throughout the world and has a plethora of stunning historical buildings, gardens and establishments. Not to be missed is a drive around Vienna’s Ringstrasse, the most beautiful boulevard in the world and home to many of Vienna’s best known sights.
Cap off your pilgrimage in Budapest, the capital and most populous city of Hungary. Often described as the “Little Paris of Middle Europe,”

> 60 days before departure date – US$ 500.00
> 45 days before departure date – 50% of the Tour Cost
> 30 days prior to departure date – Full tour cost will be forfeited.
> US$300.00 Admin Fee for any visa denial
