The Oberammergau Passion Play is a passion play performed since 1634 as a tradition by the inhabitants of the village of Oberammergau, Bavaria, Germany just once every ten years. Keeping a pledge made nearly 400 years ago, this reenactment of the crucifixion of Christ preserves the health and well-being of Oberammergau’s residents to this day.
In the year 2022, the Community of Oberammergau will perform the Passion Play for the 42nd time. Watch the most important Passion Play in the world. Begin your pilgrimage in Warsaw, Poland. Rising from the ashes of its tumultuous past, Warsaw is a fascinating collection of neighborhood and landmarks. Next stop is a visit to Niepokalanow, an important pilgrimage shrine founded by St. Maximilian Kolbe.
Travel south to Czestochowa to visit the Jasna Gora Monastery, home to the beloved miraculous icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa. Numerous miracles and answered prayers have been attributed to the intercession of Our Lady of Czestochowa. Next stop is Lagiewniki to visit the Shrine of the Divine Mercy. At the heart of the shrine stands the chapel where the miraculous image of the Merciful Jesus and the tomb of St. Faustina is found.
Proceed to Wadowice, the homeland of the beloved St. John Paul II. Step into past when you see the church where he was baptized and where used to serve as an altar boy. Head for Krakow and visit its postcard perfect Old Town that comes complete with Europe’s largest medieval market square and a fairytale castle overlooking the river.
Leave Poland for the Czechia to spend two nights in Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Celebrate Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Victorious which houses the image of the Sto. Nino del Praga.
Head for Oberammergau to watch the world famous Passion Play, staged by the entire village, making it the largest amateur theater production in the world.
Leave Germany for Austria where you will enjoy a full day tour of Salzburg’s major sights, including the “Sound of Music” filming locations. Head for Melk, a Danube River town, home to a marvelous Benedictine Abbey that sits on a steep hill overlooking the town.
Next stop is Vienna, the capital of Austria. With many different names like the City of Music and the City of Dreams, Vienna is renowned throughout the world and has a plethora of stunning historical buildings, gardens and establishments. Not to be missed is a drive around Vienna’s Ringstrasse, the most beautiful boulevard in the world and home to many of Vienna’s best known sights.
Cap off your pilgrimage in Budapest, the capital and most populous city of Hungary. Often described as the “Little Paris of Middle Europe,”
The citizens of Oberammergau, vowed to God that – provided the plague was curtailed – they would put on a play depicting the life of Jesus that would be repeated forever. Be a part of this unique experience that happens only every ten years.

1) A non-refundable deposit of US$1,000.00 is required upon reservation together with a photocopy of a passport (valid for 6 months date of departure), Pilgrim’s Profile with a passport-size photo, visa fee, and travel insurance payment.
NOTE: Oberammergau package is nonrefundable. Name change is allowed.
2) Full payment in U.S. dollars is required before ticketing but in no case shall it be later than 45 days before departure date.
3)The following cancellation charges will apply:
> 60 days before departure date – 50% of the Tour Cost
> 45 days prior to departure date – Full tour cost will be forfeited.
> US$ 500 Admin Fee for any visa denial.
BASIC TOUR COST DOES NOT INCLUDE: Philippine Travel Tax PHP1,620.00, airport taxes, visa fees and documentation expenses, insurance, hospitalization and other medical expenses, tours and transportation during free periods, porterage of extra pieces of luggage in excess of maximum allocation (30 kgs.), drinks and beverages taken during meals, items of personal nature such as laundry, telephone, fax, room service, tips for drivers, guides, tour escorts, and other expenses not mentioned in the itinerary terms and conditions.
