Experience the Bible come to life with a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, where you can walk in the footsteps of Jesus. From the Grotto of the Annunciation in Nazareth, where He was conceived in Mary’s womb, to the tomb in Jerusalem, where He was laid to rest, you will visit, pray, and reflect on the sites of the most significant moments of His life. Join a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land with a Pilgrimage Chaplain from November 3-12, 2025.

Begin your pilgrimage in Magdala, an ancient first-century town where Jewish residents gathered in a synagogue that Jesus Himself visited and taught in. Magdala is also believed to be the hometown of Mary Magdalene. Celebrate Mass in one of the chapels of the Duc in Altum.

Your pilgrimage continues in Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Visit the magnificent Basilica of the Annunciation, built over the cave where the Archangel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would conceive the Son of God. Celebrate mass at St. Joseph’s Church, located at the site of St. Joseph’s workshop. Next, make your way to Mount Tabor, the site of the transfiguration of Jesus. Visit the awe-inspiring Church of the Transfiguration, renowned as one of the Holy Land’s most stunning churches. Not to be missed is an enjoyable boat ride across the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus performed numerous miracles.

During your pilgrimage, you will have the opportunity to renew your baptismal vows at the River Jordan. Married couples-pilgrims will have the chance to renew their wedding vows at the Church of the First Miracle in Cana. Head for Capernaum, known as Jesus’ “own city,” where He lived. Visit the Church of St. Peter, built over the ruins of the house of St. Peter.  Next, make your way to the Mount of Beatitudes, traditionally believed to be the site for Jesus’ Sermon of the Mount. It is also one of the most serene and picturesque places in the Holy Land.

Next, visit Tabgha, home to the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fish, which commemorates the miraculous feeding of the multitude. Nearby, at the Church of the Primacy of Peter, you will find the Mensa Christi—a rock believed to be the table where Jesus shared a breakfast of fish and bread with His Apostles.

The charming village of Ein Karem, known for its picturesque beauty, is the hometown of Zechariah and Elizabeth, the parents of John the Baptist, and the site of the Visitation. As you arrive, you will be welcomed by one of the church’s most cherished hymns, Mary’s Magnificat (Luke 1:46-55), the prayer she offered when meeting Elizabeth. The sacred hymn is beautifully displayed in 47 languages on the wall facing the church.

Continue your pilgrimage to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Visit the Basilica of the Nativity, which houses the Grotto of the Nativity and the Altar of Christ’s Birth. A silver star marks the exact spot where Jesus was born, making this a deeply meaningful moment on your journey.

Jerusalem, revered as a holy city by Jews, Christians, and Muslims, is the next highlight of your pilgrimage. This sacred place, at the heart of the Holy Land, marks the site where Jesus was crucified, died, and rose from the dead. In the Old City, walk the Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrows), reflecting deeply on each station of the cross as you follow in the footsteps of our Lord on His journey to Calvary. Your pilgrimage reaches its pinnacle at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the holiest site in Jerusalem, built over Golgotha—the place of Jesus’ crucifixion.

Wind down your pilgrimage in Emmaus, the site of one of the most touching of Christ’s post-Resurrection encounters. It was here, during the breaking of the bread, that the risen Jesus revealed Himself to the two disciples whom he had walked from Jerusalem.

A pilgrimage to the Holy Land is not the end of a journey but the beginning of a lifelong spiritual encounter. Each time you attend Mass, read the Bible, or pray the rosary, the memories and grace of this sacred experience will come alive within you. Join a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land with a Pilgrimage Chaplain from November 3-12, 2025. Deepen your faith, renew your spirit, and embrace the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.

The “Seven Churches” pilgrimage, originally conceived by St. Philip Neri in the 16th century, is one of Rome’s oldest traditions. This 25-kilometer journey weaves through the heart of the city and into the tranquil Roman countryside, passing the historic catacombs and culminating in visits to some of Rome’s most magnificent basilicas. Walk through Rome’s Holy Doors and receive the Jubilee Indulgence offered during this special Jubilee Year of Hope. Join a 12-day Pilgrimage to Rome, visiting the Seven Pilgrim Churches, with a Pilgrimage Chaplain, from July 7-18, 2025.

Begin your pilgrimage with a 4-night stay in Rome. Rome, a living museum, offers an unparalleled journey through time, faith, and culture.  Explore the iconic sites and sacred shrines of city, including the four major basilicas, and walk through the holy doors of St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Paul Outside the Walls, St. John Lateran, and St. Mary Major. Continue your pilgrimage by visiting the remaining three of the Seven Pilgrim Churches: the Basilica of St. Lawrence Outside the Walls, the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem, and the Basilica of St. Sebastian Outside the Walls.

Travel from Rome to Manoppello, where you will visit the Santuario del Volto Santo (Shrine of the Holy Face) and attend Mass. This sacred church houses a revered linen cloth believed to bear the miraculous image of Jesus Christ’s face. From there, continue to San Giovanni Rotondo, the spiritual home of Saint Padre Pio. Visit the humble cell where he lived and passed away and reflect before the crucifix in Santa Maria delle Grazie Church, where he received the stigmata. Conclude your visit by offering prayers before Saint Pio’s incorrupt body, reverently displayed in a part-glass coffin at the Sanctuary of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, also known as the Padre Pio Pilgrimage Church. Make an afternoon visit to the Sanctuary of St. Michael the Archangel (Santuario di San Michele Arcangelo), a sacred grotto believed to be the site where Archangel Michael appeared and consecrated the shrine.

Head to Lanciano to witness the Eucharistic Miracle, a sacred relic miraculously preserved in a monstrance at the Church of St. Legontian since the eighth century. Your next stop is the Basilica of the Holy House in Loreto, a sacred shrine believed to be the home of the Holy Family, where Our Blessed Mother is said to have been conceived and born. Devout believers hold that this very house was miraculously transported by angelic beings from Nazareth to Dalmatia (modern-day Croatia). In 1924, the house was relocated once again, this time to the hilltop town of Loreto in Italy. Proceed to Cascia to visit and attend Mass at the Monastery and Basilica of St. Rita of Cascia, a minor basilica that preserves the incorrupt body of St. Rita.

Wind down your pilgrimage with a two-night stay in Assisi, a medieval city built on a hill and the home of St. Francis, the founder of the Franciscan Order. Assisi is a place of pilgrimage for those seeking peace, reflection, and connection to the saint’s teachings of humility and simplicity. The Basilica of St. Francis, which houses the tomb of St. Francis, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to stunning frescoes by Giotto and other renowned artists.

Held once every 25 years, a jubilee offers a unique opportunity for profound spiritual growth and renewed faith. On December 24, 2024, Pope Francis inaugurated the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope by opening the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica. Passing through a Holy Door symbolizes the beginning of a journey of conversion. Join a 12-day Pilgrimage to Rome, visiting the Seven Pilgrim Churches, with a Pilgrimage Chaplain, from July 7-18, 2025. May each pilgrim’s faith be strengthened, and may they encounter God’s limitless love and mercy in profound and life-changing ways.

A Jubilee is one of the most significant events in the Catholic Church, celebrated only once every 25 years. Pope Francis officially inaugurated the 2025 Jubilee of Hope by opening the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica on December 24, 2024. Passing through the Holy Door during the Jubilee symbolizes entering a new life in Christ and embarking on a journey of spiritual conversion. Take part in the Jubilee Year 2025 and embrace the call to be a Pilgrim of Hope! Join a 12-day Pilgrimage to the Shrines of Italy with Msgr. Marnell Mejia on June 3-14, 2025.

Begin your pilgrimage with a three-night stay in the awe-inspiring city of Rome, often hailed as the greatest open-air museum in Europe. Immerse yourself in its timeless beauty as you visit its renowned landmarks, sacred shrines, and historic basilicas. Experience the spiritual essence of the Jubilee by passing through the Holy Doors of the four major basilicas—St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Paul Outside the Walls, St. John Lateran, and St. Mary Major—each rich in history and significance.

Depart from Rome and journey to San Giovanni Rotondo, the beloved town where St. Padre Pio spent much of his life. Visit the humble cell where he lived and passed away, and see the crucifix in the Church of Our Lady of Grace (Santa Maria delle Grazie), where he received the stigmata during prayer. Spend a moment of reflection and prayer before his incorrupt body, displayed in a glass-paneled coffin at the Sanctuary of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, also known as the Padre Pio Pilgrimage Church.

Next stop is Lanciano to view the Eucharistic Miracle, still miraculously preserved in a monstrance at the Church of St. Legontian since the 8th century. Head for Loreto to visit the Basilica of the Holy House, a shrine believed to be the house where our Blessed Mother was conceived and born and where the Holy Family lived. Pious devotees believe that the same house was flown over by angelic beings from Nazareth to Dalmatia (modern-day Croatia). Then the house was again transported to the hilltop town of Loreto in Italy in 1294.

On to Assisi for a two-night stay in this medieval city built on a hill and the home of St. Francis, the founder of the Franciscan Order. The sublime city of Assisi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In particular, the Basilica di San Francesco, which houses the tomb of St. Francis, is considered a masterpiece.

Make your way to Padua to visit and celebrate mass at the magnificent Basilica of St. Anthony de Padua, which houses the remains of St. Anthony. Next, journey on to Milan, one of Italy’s most captivating cities, where history, art, and culture converge in awe-inspiring landmarks. Marvel at the magnificent Cathedral of Milan, or the Duomo di Milano—officially the Metropolitan Cathedral-Basilica of the Nativity of Saint Mary. With its 135 soaring spires and countless intricate statues, the Duomo is a monumental testament to six centuries of faith and artistic mastery. From Milan, head to the enchanting town of Como. Take a scenic boat ride on the breathtaking Lake Como, surrounded by stunning views.

Cap off your pilgrimage in Turin, where you can explore the city’s historic monuments and visit the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, home to the revered Shroud of Turin. This sacred linen cloth is believed to be the burial garment of Christ.

Embark on a spiritual journey during the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope, walking through the Holy Doors in Rome. Join Msgr. Marnell Mejia for a 12-day Pilgrimage to the Shrines of Italy from June 3-14, 2025. Rediscover God’s infinite kindness and embrace His grace during this year of reconciliation.

The Pope has called Mary the supreme witness of hope, as she held steadfast to her trust in God, even in the midst of her Son’s agonizing crucifixion. Marian shrines, therefore, serve as sacred spaces for the renewal of hope during this Jubilee year. Visit beloved sites of Marian apparitions and strengthen your relationship with Jesus through Mary. Join a 16-day Pilgrimage to the Great Marian Shrines of Europe (Belgium, France, Spain, and Portugal) with a Pilgrimage Chaplain led by Bro. Bo Sanchez on September 23-October 8, 2025.

Begin your pilgrimage with a Mass at the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula in Brussels, Belgium. Also known as the Brussels Cathedral, this medieval sanctuary is one of the finest examples of Brabantine Gothic architecture. It is recognized as one of the most important monuments in the city.  Enjoy a full-day guided tour of the city, which includes a visit to the Grand Place, the central square of Brussels and one of the most beautiful squares in Europe.

Head off to BanneauxBelgium, to visit the Shrine of the Virgin of the Poor. Here, the Blessed Mother appeared eight times to a young girl, Marietta Beco. A chapel was built in her honor where a sacred spring exists, which has brought healing to numerous pilgrims. Next stop is Beauraing, to celebrate Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Beauraing, where Our Lady is also known as the Virgin with the Golden Heart. At this place, Our Lady appeared 33 times to five children, to whom she promised conversion of sinners.

Journey on to the romantic city of Paris, France.  Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, which includes a visit and Mass at the Church of the Miraculous Medal. From Paris, travel down south to Nevers and visit the St. Gildard Convent, where the incorrupt body of St. Bernadette Soubirous lies. Travel onwards to Paray Le Monial, the home town of the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Leave for Ars to visit the Basilica of Ars, where you will find the reliquary containing the body of St. Jean Marie Vianney, patron saint of priests.

Head for La Sallete for your two-night stay at the breathtakingly beautiful Sanctuary of Notre Dame of La Salette, an apparition site of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The message of La Salette focuses on the conversion of all humanity to Christ through daily prayer and frequent reception of the sacraments of penance and the Eucharist.

En route to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, stop by the Shrine of Our Lady of Laus. At this place, our Blessed Mother revealed herself in Laus as the Reconciler and Refuge of Sinners. Arrive in Lourdes to catch the evening Rosary and Candlelight procession. Spend time in quiet reflection at the Grotto of Massabielle, the Blessed Virgin’s apparition site. Make sure to find time to bathe in the Baths where 70 healings were reported and confirmed by the Catholic Church.

Leave France for Spain to visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Arantzazu, where St. Ignatius of Loyola spent a night in vigil and made his vow of chastity.  For Ignatius, it was a time of great grace for strengthening his resolve to follow Christ. Still in Spain, travel to Burgos to celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Mary of Burgos, also known as Burgos Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Gothic architecture.

Wind down your pilgrimage in Fatima, Portugal, and spend two nights at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima. Here, Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children — Lucia and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta – between May and October 1917. Celebrate Mass at the Chapel of Apparitions, an open-air chapel built on the site of the appearances.

During the 2025 Jubilee Year, the Catholic Church invites the faithful to embark on a pious pilgrimage and receive the special Jubilee Indulgence. While many pilgrims travel to Italy, the Church has also designated numerous sacred sites worldwide where pilgrims can participate in the Jubilee and obtain the indulgence. Join a Pilgrimage to the Great Marian Shrines of Europe (Belgium, France, Spain, and Portugal) with a Pilgrimage Chaplain led by Bro. Bo Sanchez on September 23 – October 8, 2025. May this journey deepen your faith and allow you to experience God’s infinite love and mercy.

Pope Francis has announced that 2025 will be a year of Jubilee, an event that happens every 25 years. The theme for the upcoming Jubilee is “Pilgrims of Hope”. The 2025 Jubilee will begin in Advent 2024 and run until the Feast of the Epiphany in 2026.

What is a Jubilee?

Taking place every 25 years, a Jubilee year is a tradition that is recognized and respected throughout the world as being a significant part of the history of our faith. Excluding the Extraordinary Year of Mercy in 2015, the last Jubilee year took place in 2000, marking an historic moment as the Church entered into her third millennium.

A Jubilee is a special year of grace in which the Catholic Church offers the faithful the possibility of asking for a plenary indulgence – a remission of sins for themselves or deceased loved ones.

The year begins with the well-known custom of the opening of the Holy Door at St Peter’s Basilica, following the other three papal basilicas in Rome. Embark on a Pilgrimage to Rome in 2025 for the Jubilee Year. Join a Pilgrimage to Rome with the Shrines of St. Padre Pio and St. Francis of Assisi with Fr. Marc Bryan Adona, SSS, on February 4-13, 2025.

Begin your pilgrimage with a 5-night stay in the beautiful city of Rome. Home of Popes and Saints, the cradle of Christianity and also of Western civilization, a visit to Rome is the dream of every pilgrim. Visit the major sites, shrines, and basilicas of Rome, including the four major basilicas, and pass through the holy doors of St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Paul Outside the Walls, St. John Lateran, and Sta. Maria Maggiore. A highlight of your visit is the opportunity to attend the Papal Audience with Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City.

Travel from Rome to Manoppello, where you will visit and attend mass at the Santuario del Volto Santo (Shrine of the Holy Face). The church houses a linen cloth that depicts the face of Jesus Christ. Proceed to San Giovanni Rotondo, the home of Saint Padre Pio. Take a look at the cell where St. Padre Pio lived and died. See the crucifix in Santa Maria delle Grazie Churchthe Church of Our Lady of Grace, where he received the stigmata. Offer prayers in front of his incorrupt body, displayed in a part-glass coffin at the Sanctuary of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina (sometimes referred to as Padre Pio Pilgrimage Church).

Make your way to Mont Sant’ Angelo to visit the grotto that is home to the Sanctuary of St. Michael the Archangel (Santuario di San Michele Arcangelo), a hollowed cave where the Archangel Michael is said to have appeared and dedicated the shrine. After that, travel to Lanciano to see the Eucharistic Miracle, which has been miraculously preserved in a monstrance in the Church of St. Legontian since the eighth century.

Visit the Basilica of the Holy House in Loreto, a shrine believed to be the home of the Holy Family and the place where Our Blessed Mother was conceived and born. Pious devotees hold that the same house was transported by angelic beings from Nazareth to Dalmatia (modern-day Croatia). Then, in 1924, the house was moved once more, this time to the Italian hilltop town of Loreto. See the Monastery and Basilica of St. Rita of Cascia, a minor basilica that houses the incorrupt body of St. Rita, and attend mass there when you travel to Cascia.

Wind down your pilgrimage with a two-night stay in Assisi, a medieval city built on a hill and the home of St. Francis, the founder of the Franciscan Order. The sublime city of Assisi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In particular, the Basilica di San Francesco, which houses the tomb of St. Francis, is considered a masterpiece.

For the Jubilee Year 2025, the Holy Doors remain open for pilgrims to walk through and receive the Jubilee indulgence. Be a Pilgrim of Hope in 2025. Join a Pilgrimage to Rome with the Shrines of St. Padre Pio and St. Francis of Assisi with Fr. Marc Bryan Adona, SSS, on February 4-13, 2025. When Pope Francis opens St. Peter’s Basilica’s Holy Door on December 24, 2024, the Year of Jubilee of Hope will formally begin. This event signifies God creating a fresh avenue for salvation, mercy, and grace. These beautifully sculpted doors are the first to be opened during a holy year. Next to open will be the Holy Doors of the other three major basilicas in Rome: St. Mary Major, St. Paul’s Outside the Walls, and St. John Lateran.

Embark on a pilgrimage to Rome and other parts of Italy in 2025 for the Jubilee Year and enjoy the rare opportunity to pass through the holy doors. Be a Pilgrim of Hope. Join a 13-day Pilgrimage to the Shrines of Italy with Fr. Kali Pietre Llamado and Fr. Regie Malicdem on February 9-21, 2025.

Begin your pilgrimage with a 4-night stay in the beautiful city of Rome. Dubbed the greatest open-air museum in Europe, Rome will steal your breath away. Visit major sites, shrines, and basilicas of Rome, including the four major basilicas, and pass through the holy doors of St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Paul Outside the Walls, St. John Lateran, and St. Mary Major. A highlight of your visit is the opportunity to attend the Papal Audience with Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City.

Leave Rome for Subiaco, where St. Benedict, founder of the Benedictine Order, retired as a hermit and founded 12 monasteries before departing for Monte Cassino. When you arrive at the village, the Ponte di San Francesco, a 1358-built medieval arch bridge over the River Aniene, will greet you. Visit the Sanctuary of the Sacro Speco (Holy Cave), which enshrines the very cave in which the young Saint Benedict of Norcia lived in the early sixth century as a hermit. Adorned with frescoes and paintings that date back to the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, the Saint Benedict Monastery, also known as the Holy Cave, is one of the most breathtaking medieval monasteries in the world!

Head for Montecassino to see the Abbazia di Montecassino, which was established by St. Benedict in 529 and serves as the mother monastery of the Benedictines. The elaborate church from the 17th century is decorated inside with exquisite mosaics, frescoes, and marble. The relics of Saint Benedict and Saint Scholastica, his twin sister, are housed in a bronze urn beneath the high altar of the Basilica. The group will be scheduled for Mass before leaving for Naples.

Travel to Mont Sant’ Angelo to see the grotto that houses the Sanctuary of St. Michael the Archangel (Santuario di San Michele Arcangelo), a sacred cave where the Archangel Michael is said to have appeared and consecrated the shrine himself.

Continue with your pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo, where St. Padre Pio spent most of his life. Visit the cell where St. Padre Pio lived and died. See the crucifix in the Church of Our Lady of Grace (Santa Maria delle Grazie Church), where he received the stigmata while in prayer. Pray in front of his incorrupt body displayed in a part-glass coffin at the Sanctuary of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina (sometimes referred to as Padre Pio Pilgrimage Church).

Next stop is Lanciano to view the Eucharistic Miracle, still miraculously preserved in a monstrance at the Church of St. Legontian since the 8th century. Continue with your pilgrimage to Manoppello to visit the Santuario del Volto Santo (Shrine of the Holy Face), where a piece of linen cloth depicting the face of Jesus Christ is kept in the church. Cascia, the hometown of St. Rita of Cascia is the next destination. Visit and celebrate mass at the Monastery and Basilica of St. Rita of Cascia, the minor basilica where the incorrupt body of St. Rita is preserved.

A two-night stay in the picturesque hills of Assisi, the birthplace of one of the most beloved Catholic saints and the founder of the Franciscan order, St. Francis of Assisi, is a great way to cap off your trip. Admire the magnificently ornate Basilica di San Francesco, which houses the tomb of St. Francis

Take part in the Jubilee, a tradition with biblical roots which happens only once every 25 or 50 years. Heed the call of His Holiness, Pope Francis, for a special year of grace in 2025 with the chance to obtain a plenary indulgence. Join a 13-day Pilgrimage to the Shrines of Italy with Fr. Kali Pietre Llamado and Fr. Regie Malicdem on February 9-21, 2025. May one seize the opportunity to grow in faith and rediscover God’s kindness and grace throughout this year of reconciliation.
