For more than a thousand years, pilgrims from every walk of life have set out on El Camino de Santiago, the Way of St. James, drawn by faith, longing, and hope. Our journey follows this ancient path through the countryside of northern Spain, ending at the magnificent Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, where the remains of the Apostle St. James are venerated.
2027 is a Jubilee Year in Santiago de Compostela. Because the Feast of St. James on July 25 falls on a Sunday, the Cathedral celebrates a Holy Year—a special time of grace when the Holy Door is opened to pilgrims. Walking the Camino during a Jubilee Year offers a particularly meaningful opportunity for renewal, reconciliation, and spiritual growth.
From April 15 to 27, 2027, join Fr. Fiel Pareja on a 13-Day Pilgrimage of Holy Year of Saint James: Camino Walk to Santiago.
The Camino asks very little of you: just one step, then another. Somewhere along the way, the noise of daily life begins to fade, and you start to hear what you have been too busy to notice—a prayer you forgot you were carrying, a gratitude you didn’t know was there, or perhaps a quiet answer to a question you have held for years.
Along the way, Fr. Fiel Pareja will walk with us, celebrating Mass, praying with us, and encouraging us on the days when the road feels long.
And there will be such days. Your feet will tire, and your strength may fade. But perhaps this is where the Camino works its quiet miracle. In our weakness, we discover how faithfully God carries us, and how beautifully a fellow pilgrim’s smile can lift our spirits. This is how fatigue becomes faith.
There are journeys we take to see the world. And there are journeys we take because the heart is longing for God.
Come with your gratitude, your intentions, your questions, and your love.
The gift of the Camino is not simply reaching a cathedral. It is discovering, along the way, a deeper sense of peace, the gift of community, and the person God is calling you to become.
Let every step become a prayer.
Buen Camino!
