Capernaum is also the hometown of the apostles Peter, James, Andrew, John, and Matthew, the tax collector. Next, journey to Jerusalem, a city holy to Jews, Christians, and Muslims. This is the heart of the Holy Land, where Jesus was crucified, died, and rose again. Cap off your pilgrimage in Emmaus, a town where Jesus appeared after his death and resurrection, before two of his disciples while they were walking on the road to Emmaus.
