Mary is the road God travelled in order to reach us, and the road that we must travel in order to reach Him.
~ Pope Francis
Journey to some of the most beloved Marian apparition sites and deepen your faith as you draw closer to Jesus through Mary. Be inspired by the lives of the saints who remained steadfast in their devotion to Christ. Join a 14-day Marian Pilgrimage to the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France with a Pilgrimage Chaplain on October 15-28, 2025.
Begin your pilgrimage with a visit to the Shrine of Our Lady of All Nations in Amsterdam, Netherlands. On March 25, 1945, Our Lady appeared to Ida Peerdeman, the first of 56 apparitions that would continue until 1959. Her message emphasized invoking the Holy Spirit and seeking unity for all nations. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city which includes a scenic canal cruise, passing historic 17th-century houses, churches, and bell towers, offering a glimpse into the city’s rich past.
Leave Netherlands for Germany to visit Kevelaer, a revered Marian pilgrimage site known as the Lourdes of Germany. Visit the Chapel of Mercy, home to the miraculous image of Our Lady, Comforter of the Afflicted (also known as Our Lady of Consolation), and spend time in prayer at the Basilica of St. Mary and the Candle Chapel.
Still in Germany, continue to Cologne, home to the majestic Cologne Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site housing the golden reliquary of the Three Magi. Embark on a guided tour of Cologne’s Old Town, uncovering its 2,000-year history.
Leave Germany for Belgium to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Banneux, also known as the Shrine of the Virgin of the Poor in Banneux. There, Our Lady led Marietta Beco (the visionary) to a spring of water where many healing miracles were reported. Enjoy an overnight stay in the beautiful city of Brussels. Not to be missed is a visit to the Grand Place, a world-famous market square and the heart of medieval Brussels.
Take a full-day excursion to Bruges, a UNESCO-listed city with a well-preserved medieval center. Discover its landmarks on a walking tour, including Our Lady’s Church (home to Michelangelo’s Madonna and Child), the Belfry, and the Chapel of the Holy Blood. A delightful canal cruise completes this charming visit.
Leave Belgium for France and head for Lisieux, the hometown of St. Therese of the Child Jesus. Visit the Carmel Chapel containing the body of the endeared Saint. See the Hall of Relics, containing various objects and souvenirs that belonged to St. Theresa. Next, visit the family home—Les Buissonets—and the Basilica of St. Therese.
Continue to the awe-inspiring Mont-Saint-Michel, a breathtaking abbey dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel, perched atop a rocky islet surrounded by tidal waters.
Continue with your pilgrimage with a visit to Pontmain to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Pontmain. In this apparition, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in 1871, reassuring the villagers with a heavenly message of peace and war. Within days, the Prussian army withdrew, and France was miraculously spared.
Travel south to Versailles to admire the splendor of the Versailles Palace, the symbol of France’s grandeur during the reign of King Louis XIV.
Conclude your pilgrimage with two nights in Paris. Celebrate Mass at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, where St. Catherine Labouré received the vision of the Miraculous Medal in 1830. Explore the city’s highlights, including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and a serene Seine River cruise.
Embark on a 14-day Marian Pilgrimage to the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France with a Pilgrimage Chaplain on October 15-28, 2025, and allow Mary to lead you ever closer to her Son. As a loving mother, she watches over us and intercedes for us, guiding us on our journey of faith. May this pilgrimage deepen your devotion and fill your heart with grace and renewal.
